Please explain to me how charging .10 cents for a paper bag is going to save the world, when at the end of the transaction I get a paper receipt 18″ long. In the ’70s we stopped using paper bags because we were cutting too many trees. Plastic was the answer. Now you are causing trees to be cut and used in paper bags. I was under the understanding that trees helped clean the air while absorbing carbon dioxide and producing oxygen. Your feeble attempt at saving the world reeks of a extra charge to the customers.
