it would be awful to win a great prize but then not to have the money for taxes or duties on the prize. or whatever you have to pay to get your prize. that would really suck. i only enter contests for things id like to have or to give to my family and other times i’ve won contests that i give to a local charity to support my community.
ive won many various prizes over the years and i have never had to pay any $$ to get my prize yet so. im hoping that is how it keeps going. because i enter in hopes to win things i cant afford on my fixed income . thats the only way i could own some of the great prizes that are posted here. i hope i win some money to pay for the prizes that have a fee attached to claim it that would be ideal. does anyone have a story to share where they had to forfeit the prize due to taxes or some other cost ? please share your story here to help others know the truth about prizes and how easy or difficult it was to claim it. thank you for reading this post and offering any answers.
