Enter the new Amazon Canada First Novel Award 2019 for your chance to Win $5000 and a mentorship lunch with editors of The Walrus.
This contest is open to all Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada who are at least the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside for one category and thirteen years through seventeen in another.
To enter you need to submit an original piece of writing, there are two categories: Adult Novel and Youth Short Story. On the Adult Novel category your work has to be published and on the Youth Short Story it doesn’t. Please refer to the contest page for details.
Entries to the contest close on January 31, 2019. Winners will be selected by a judging panel.
